I listen to a song, whatever gets you through the night. I do not think it works.--beginning of my first horror novel-

Now I lay me down to sleep. Pray the Lord my soul to keep.----end of first horror novel....

Barabus, tall, darker than most, sufficient to himself. Yet, he stood once more on that threshold of never again. Spears at his throat, himself or God? James knelt before him subjugation not of necessity but rather choice.
"If you spare me you will die. if you do not you will die." The words, calm unaffected came from the soul of a man convinced of eternity and his place along God's side. Barabus cut swiftly, calmly. The head of James roled from his shoulders, settled in blood red sand. Barabus screamed as the thousands claimed their hero as unto themselves.
