Whoots! I'll go figure this out. Once again I got off track and last night when I sat down at last, no dice. But I sat down at noon with somewhere I needed to go and told myself 1 hour of solid writing. Well, I went 15 minutes over, but I managed about 650 and finished my chapter with a bang. I'll post the end in the para thread. I'm verrry happy with me for a change. I almost think ME has decided to get this project finished. I'm not going to think about that too hard yet, though. I don't want to frighten her. affraid

Post by AmandaLyn on Wed Jun 03, 2009 9:23 pm

Drumroll please!!!!

Okay, people. I have been keeping track, and have received counts from most of you. Here's what we have...

Heron.... wow!! 36 pages!!! Totally awesome!
Kerr did 7 pages.
I managed 9 pages of short story.... was too slow getting Bambi and Rose in...because that would have added about 10 more pages to my count
JaM has 1 page of writing and one poem, so that counts as 2.
I kept track of Dave's poems and writing... I came up with 4 pages between his prose-etry and that incredible story of Sophie!
And CRS -- you did three rewrites of your poem... so I will count that as 3 pages.

62 pages people!!! We're small but i think that's pretty impressive!! Well done, and thank you very much.
On behalf of the Writers Block, a donation will be made to the American Lung Cancer Association in the name of Paula's dad. May he rest in peace, hon.

I said there was a prize involved for our winner. Heron, however, has most generously asked that the prize and the cost of mailing it to her be added to the donation to the cancer association. Thanks, hon.

The money was forwarded today to the American Cancer Association on behalf of the Writers Block. Thanks so much, guys. We did good. Very Happy

I am not often at a loss for words ( I'm irish, we tend not to shut up)
but this time, you guys have rendered me speechless

Thank you .. seems dull and not enough
Love you all , a bit more fitting yet without giving the hugs, seems less than perfect.

I am honored to call you all friends. I am humbled by the gesture and the donation in my father's name.

I really should get out more. I'm happy that I unknowingly made the contribution to the event, but smack me in the head if you do something like this again so I pay attention and maybe I'll get more done!!!!
