Hey :)

Post by Kiersten on Thu Dec 09, 2010 6:12 pm

Hello, so my name's Kiersten. I'm new here, which I guess is obvious considering where I'm currently posting. Very Happy
I love to write...mostly these really short things, that I don't think could be called poetry, but also aren't short stories. I also write poetry, as well though. bounce
I have a blog at http://kierstenevan.blogspot.com/ if you're interested in checking it out (it has some of my writing, and also my photography on it). But I am, of course, going to be posting writing on here.
Hmmm...I won't be posting a WHOLE lot just yet, I don't think. But next semester, I'm starting a Creative Writing course, so I'll have lots more then!!
Okay, shutting up now. :)

Okey dokey Kiersten, we have places for things that aren't really short stories and maybe not poetry either. See - we think of everything. You write it, we'll find a place to post it.

Hi -- I popped over to your blog to check out those photos you were talking about. Some nice stuff, didn't see a lot of written work though - judging by the creativity in your images, I look forward to reading you.

Thanks for the welcome, everyone! :)
Kie - I haven't posted very much writing on there as of late, as I've been very blocked lately. So even the writing I have posted, is very short, and incredibly forced. I'm trying to work on something to worth posting there, but thank you for checking it out! It means a lot to me. :)

Hey Kiersten, just a thought, but if you fill out a bit of your profile it may help all of us with perspectives of sorts.

I also took a look at your blog, and am glad to see you searching out various forms of verse. You have to get into the Poetic Engineering forum here - led by Kie, as he tries to further our concepts and knowledge - open new windows maybe.

Good, see now others can see what works you like, etc. So far as demographics, there are several here that you may feel close to age-wise. I think the holidays may be affecting their presence right now.

Thanks :) The only reason I didn't do it sooner is because I'm fairly stupid about learning websites, and it took me a bit to figure out how to edit my profile.
And thank you, I'll have to find and check those out! :)

Hi Kiersten. I have a feeling you've found a great new home here with us. I loved the freshness I saw in your blog, and I think we'll inspire you plenty with new thoughts to add more. Have fun, that's the thing. Right now we have a Christmas thingy going on. If you think of something along those lines to write, it might help you deal with all the white stuff settling.
