PREVIEW -- A LIFE GONE AWRY: My Story of the Elan School

here is a preview of Wayne's next book. the dedication in this book will blow you away. Also, it should be noted that Wayne will be giving all proceeds from this book to charities that help children affected by these facilities. Well done Wayne.

Hmmmm, it would seem Wayne's book hit a nerve. The Facebook Page got hacked, as did all his his facebook pages and groups. I think it's fixed now, but if you see something a bit hinky, let me know.

Some of you may know this, most probably don’t, but WAMM does have a virtual world presence in InWorldz. This is an entirely experimental thing in many ways, but for people who are in the virtual world, this is a way to reach out to them and to an international audience. Virtual worlds have large literary presence, and while InWorldz is a relatively new platform, it is making great strides and clientele is building daily. We have purchased a ‘SIM’ there, called Literary Cove. In other virtual worlds, there is usually one or two main sims that are dedicated to writers and literary pursuits, and ours is the first in InWorldz. A sim is sort of the equivalent of purchasing a hunk of land in the real world. We have ours set up for many functions, including having workshops on writing and editing, reading groups, symposiums, dances, and we are introducing murder mysteries ( hosting the parties as well as workshops on writing them) to the site as well, just to continue to add traffic to the bookstore there. The books are displayed in our bookstore for purchase from the WAMM site. Our main building is The Hemingway, and is a multi-function building for workshops, socializing, and sharing. If you are interested in looking at what is involved, I can give you log in information that puts you into a virtual body there so you can walk around and see what it’s all about. It is a free platform, and very easy to get to know, but you do have to download a free viewer to your computer. If you have any questions about this, feel free to contact me. We also have a more minor presence in Second Life.

We have redone a lot of the site, set it up a bit differently to accommodate for some of the new books coming out. The pictures of some of the shirts and mugs are in the store now, the upcoming releases are in there, so let me know what you think.
