Hello Alex,

There are a number of things here that can offer you help, and people who offer constructive comments, no BS off the wall ego crap. You are most welcome to jump in at whatever level you feel comfortable.

Now - how about posting and excerpt, chapter, or short story in the Newbie Posting forum, so we all can see and understand what you're doing. Look at previous post in that forum to see what others did.

You can also let the Block know a little about you - what genre your writting, etc.

Hi Alex. We all get stuck from time to time, hence our ongoing projects. They are all ways for us to relax and just write. It's the nerves that get us tied up, so it works. Just like switching genres works for some strange reason, maybe because we know we won't be writing in that place for long. It always ends up feeling like maybe you've been looking in the wrong place because you let go of all the little whispering conflicting voices that only slow the process.

Me? I'm an expert on blocks, but our Block is more like a city block with horses set out at either end of the street, and everyone outside partying. There's a band playing and some are dancing, I'm at the BBQ doing my thing, serving up a little something for everyone. Fix yourself up a plate and get busy chowing.
